Update @ ENK
September 22, 2011

This past week marked my 3rd month with ENK international as their web developer. Since my arrival, there have been many web projects that needed immediate attention, dire facelifts and restructuring. Including:

An HTML and mobile friendly redesign of two antiquated flash sites www.enkshows.com/acic and www.enkshows.com/coterie. A broken Joomla website that was barely functional from a design standpoint www.wsashow.com. And the conception of three interactive displays/online look-books with extremely tight deadlines www.enkshows.com/coterie/tmrw www.enkshows.com/enknyc/tmrw and www.enkshows.com/enkchina. In addition to web development I have become their photographer for all the trade shows and after parties.

This week also marked their grand finale show for the year, Fashion Coterie. With the end of coterie comes a gap of time until February where there are no shows. During this time the art director and I will focus on a site wide redesign and integration of all ENK properties, a challenge I’ve been looking foreword to since beginning.

Exciting times.

New full-time job + new sites
July 12, 2011

Recent efforts of rebranding myself and creating new websites have paid off. I’ve left the fine people of Keens Steakhouse & Empire as their production designer to enter a new era of my life with ENK International as their lead web designer/developer. ENK International is the largest fashion trade show company in the US. They run 10+ shows per year which means there are many websites to be made.

Their current site is www.enkshows.com, if everything goes as planned, each of their properties will be getting a makeover. On route to that goal, I’ve already redesigned one, www.enkshows.com/acic and am in development of an online lookbook using isotope.js, enkshows.com/enknyc/tmrw.

Back from Africa
May 26, 2011

Just got back from Kenya. Took over 4,000 photos on safari and of Nairobi. Will be posting them over time slowly! Also in the making is a hardcover book and a website dedicated to my days there. Here’s a taste of what’s to come.
